Paris Orly Corridor

The Team together with its French partner transport consultant Menighetti has been appointed to assist the Parisian Authority of Seine Amont Development with the production of a planning and design strategy for the public spaces around a new tramway between Paris and Orly Airport, replacing an existing bus service with a more efficient and sustainable transport system. The Team explored the urban design, economic and social implications of this upgrade on the surrounding neighbourhoods. Community engagement was central to the study and The Team undertook an extensive consultation process to ensure the views of the different stakeholders bordering the corridor were addressed in the construction of the planning and design strategy.
