Rennes South West Development Framework

The Team was selected by the Communauté d’Agglomération Rennes Métropole to create a development framework for a 25 sq km site south west of the city centre. The site has significant regional importance but currently lacks any sense of place or coherence. With socio-economic expertise provided by HDS and transport solutions proposed by SECAD, the team developed an exciting proposal to enhance the landscape and biodiversity value of the site whilst diversifying its economy and increasing accessibility for residents and visitors. The strategy will enable the area to transform itself over the next ten years into a new regional gateway to Rennes; attractive, sustainable and desirable.
